Oh had her best finish of the year a fortnight ago when she finished in a tie for second in Portland. She will need to produce another sparkling round to hunt down those above her in the final round in Galloway. World number two Jin Young Ko and third-ranked Inbee Park are both 11-under, two shots clear of their closest challenger, Thailand's Patty Tavatanakit.
Park birdied three of her last five holes, while Ko played in the morning on the windy Bay Course at Seaview and ran off five birdies in a six-hole stretch on the front nine as both carded rounds of 65. Among the other Australians competing alongside Oh, 2019 Women's PGA Championship winner Hannah Green is next best at 4-under following a second successive round of 69.
