New TS Galaxy man Bernard Parker is hoping to pass on his experience to young players at his new clubBernard Parker is one of South Africa’s most experienced active players. He was recently snapped up by TS Galaxy following his release from Kaizer Chiefs at the end of his contract in June.
Asked what he hopes to add to the Rockets, the 36-year-old said he wants to be an inspiration to younger players. "I bring Bernard Parker to TS Galaxy, Bernard Parker always knows what he has to do," the striker said. "I’ve played at the highest level in Europe. The Champions League, the Europa League and also the World Cup with Bafana Bafana. So all of that I’ve achieved, I bring here. I hope to bring inspiration to the young players."In the past three to four years, I’ve not only been playing, but I’ve also been uplifting and inspiring players around. I have a new home now, a new club and a new family and I’m happy to be here to contribute.
TS Galaxy currently sits in fifth spot in the DStv Premiership table and is the only side yet to be beaten or even concede a goal this season. The rockets have won two of their five matches a drawn the other three.
