KUALA LUMPUR: The police have seized assets related to 1MDB totalling at least RM93.2 million, which were acquired under the name of Jasmine Loo.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said these assets were declared by the former associate of fugitive financier Low Taek Jho to the police and recorded in her statutory declaration. The assets include watches, handbags, real estate properties, two Picasso paintings, and monies in bank accounts.
The assets, Ayob said, were calculated based on their value in 2013, and seized in Singapore, Switzerland, New York, London, and Malaysia.
