Exercise is really important to me. I generally like to exercise in the morning. It’s time I prioritise for myself. It puts me in a good mood, and I feel like it sets up my day. I like high-intensity exercise. I have a lot of energy soThe Peloton was a gift to myself after I had Mathilda. It just meant that I could exercise at any time when she was napping, or if I had a spare 45 minutes.
If was the 5 o’clock wine on a Wednesday, or a Tuesday, that was OK. The office space was in the kitchen, so we probably snacked a little bit more as well. But again, whatever got you through the day was OK.I pride myself on being very efficient at work. I much prefer a 45 minute or 30-minute meeting to an hour, because I think it really makes people focus on coming to a resolution or creating the next steps. It also frees up time in your schedule.
Another work hack is to pack my bag the night before. I’m definitely a mother now. This is something I tell my fiancé every single day and every single day he doesn’t do it. We’re always rushing out the door, for the day care drop off, work commute, and he’ll forget something.
