Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says the risk to the community posed by a cluster which started with a Logan truck driver 'is decreasing'.
There are 20 active cases in Queensland.
Ms Palaszczuk said 53 per cent of eligible Queenslanders have had their first dose and 34.1 per cent are fully vaccinated."This is our window of opportunity Queensland to get vaccinated, make sure you register with Queensland Health or go and see one of the 300 GPs across Queensland or drop into a pharmacy," Ms Palaszczuk said.Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young thanked the Logan families who are in home isolation.
Dr Young said 34 out of 36 children from Windaroo State School who attend after-school care at the centre have also tested negative."So we're just working through with the family, until we get those results unfortunately those 900 or so families will need to remain in quarantine," she said.
