There’s a problem with aspects of Canada’s telecommunications network this morning. Many people who are with Rogers are unable to activate their devices. The outage map shows widespread interruptions, but especially in eastern Canada.
Not only are internet, cell, cable, phone, and alarm monitoring services affected, but people may also be unable to access debit and credit services. Many businesses are only able to accept cash. Service NL says due to the outage Motor Registration will not be able to process Interac transactions.Due to the nationwide Rogers outage, MRD offices are unable to process Interac transactions. Cash or cheque only until services are restored. We apologize for any inconvenience.
