The former presenter of The Late Late Show issued a statement yesterday following the release of the second report by Grant Thornton.
The radio presenter is currently in talks with RTÉ to return to his morning radio show on a salary of around €200,000. It comes as RTE are seeking clarification on his statement. They stated: “Regarding Ryan Tubridy’s comments in his statement today, RTÉ is currently seeking clarification as to their meaning.
Figures published in June found that Ryan’s salary was €466,250 in 2020. However, he was also given an additional €56,250 that was not included.
