Everyone who watches the ITV series knows the drill – each instalment begins with a team of four going up individually against a quiz master, known as the Chaser, in the hope of adding large amounts of money to the prize pot.
Alexander, Alan, Emma and Caroline had a tough time on the show They went up against The Menace, who was originally a contestant on The Chase himself Alexander, the youngest of the team at 18, was put forward as their representative – but sadly, Darragh defeated him at the final hurdle. This meant that all of them left the show with absolutely zero winnings. Viewers were furious by how poorly the contestants performed, saying that it was ‘embarrassing’ to watch.
