Vernon Kay apologised 'whole-heartedly' to BBC Radio 2 listeners who acknowledged the blunder during the show's famous Ten To The Top quiz
BBC Radio 2 presenter Vernon Kay has issued an apology after a mistake live on-air was flagged by observant listeners tuning into the show on Wednesday.
As part of the questions, he was asked to name the title of The Supremes song that was covered by Kim Wilde. Despite his impressive efforts however, the listener missed out on winning the smart speaker to another listener who gained more points.
